Senior Data Analyst – AI Specialist

About the role

The Senior Data Analyst will join Cauridor’s Data Engineering team to turn raw data into actionable insights across operations, finance, commercial and marketing. The role blends traditional analysis with AI‑enabled tools, allowing the analyst to automate reporting, build dashboards and prototype intelligent data assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Transform business questions from any department into clear, accurate analysis and recurring reports.
• Design, build and maintain dashboards using Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or Metabase.
• Leverage LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and AI‑assisted BI features to accelerate analysis and automate repetitive reporting.
• Pilot new AI tools and develop simple internal utilities such as data‑query assistants or auto‑generated report summaries.
• Collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer to ensure data quality, flag issues at source and document data definitions.
• Act as the go‑to generalist data resource, presenting findings in plain language to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and stay current on emerging AI/data technologies.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related analytics role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience querying multiple data sources.
• Hands‑on experience with a BI tool such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or Metabase.
• Practical use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or AI‑assisted analytics) to speed up real work.
• Comfortable with Python for automation and analysis (a plus).
• Exposure to data‑engineering concepts like pipelines and data‑warehousing (e.g., BigQuery).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate insights for non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.
