About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Strategy, Communications and Impact Consultant to support the Government of Liberia’s Back to My Classroom (BTMC) campaign. The consultant will work on‑site in Monrovia for one year, helping design and implement communication strategies that promote school participation and digital learning adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive BTMC communication strategy and work plan.
- Produce high‑quality communication materials, including messages for the Digital Learning Platform and MoE Radio.
- Support the alignment of the Learning Passport, curriculum digitisation and integration of climate‑resilience topics.
- Coordinate nationwide dissemination of campaign messages and monitor visibility reporting.
- Strengthen the capacity of Ministry of Education teams and partners through technical guidance and training.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in communications, strategy development or impact assessment, preferably in education or development contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to work with government ministries and international partners.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in evidence‑based communication.
