Supply Chain Associate (G5) – Monrovia

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Associate (G5) to support its mission in Liberia. Reporting to the Resource Management Officer and directly to the Supply Chain Officer, the incumbent will manage procurement and logistics activities for the IOM office in Monrovia.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and consolidate procurement requisition forms in line with the Purchase Authorisation Matrix.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, conduct bid analysis and support the evaluation process.
• Confirm terms with selected suppliers, issue purchase orders or contracts, and coordinate authorisations.
• Monitor open requisitions, follow up on delivery of goods and services, and obtain satisfactory delivery notes.
• Review vendor invoices, prepare payment requests and liaise with Finance for timely payments.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records and generate periodic reports.
• Conduct market surveys, evaluate new suppliers and monitor contract renewals.
• Oversee office supplies, utilities invoicing and provide procurement guidance to staff.
• Manage property, asset, warehousing, insurance, maintenance, transportation and fleet operations tasks.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the overall supervision of the Resource Management Officer and direct supervision of the Supply Chain Officer.
• Accountability for end‑to‑end supply chain activities within the IOM mission.
• Strong organisational skills to handle documentation, reporting and vendor management.
• Experience in coordinating procurement, logistics and asset management processes.
