Treatment Coordinator

About the role

The Treatment Coordinator ensures patients fully understand their recommended dental care and helps schedule the necessary procedures. Working closely with dentists and hygienists, the coordinator acts as the primary liaison between the clinical team and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Guide patients through consultation appointments, presenting treatment plans and associated financial obligations.
• Calculate fees using various fee schedules and discuss financing, insurance, and payment options.
• Maintain tickler and delayed‑treatment files, and track each patient’s status in the system.
• Prepare and present consent forms for surgical, endodontic, and general procedures.
• Coordinate appointments with specialists or general dentists, including sending records and study models.
• Update insurance information, organize claim supporting materials, and assist with coding for billing.
• Participate in daily briefings with the doctor to review schedules and critical information.
• Support front‑office duties and attend staff meetings as needed.
