Finance Associate

About the role

The Finance Associate will support the company's financial management system, covering cost control, system setup, reporting, tax compliance, procurement and inventory for our titanium mining operations. The role requires strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze mining operation costs, identifying reduction and efficiency opportunities.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining financial systems, processes and internal controls.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Support tax planning, preparation and filing in accordance with local and national regulations.
• Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation and reporting.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and financial forecasting, tracking performance against targets.
• Provide documentation and assistance to external auditors during annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
• Perform any additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Leadership potential.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
