HR Manager – Liberia

About the role

The HR Manager will lead all human‑resources functions for our operations in Liberia, supporting both the corporate office and multiple project sites. You will work closely with senior management and project teams to ensure the workforce is planned, recruited, and managed in line with local labour laws and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute workforce planning and recruitment strategies for project‑based environments.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance‑management processes.
• Oversee payroll, compensation, benefits, and day‑to‑day HR operations.
• Ensure compliance with Liberian labour legislation and internal policies.
• Provide guidance and training to managers and staff on HR best practices.
• Support expatriate and local employee integration and administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in EPC, construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining or similar project‑based sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Liberian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Proven experience in recruitment, workforce planning, and managing both expatriate and local staff.
• Excellent employee‑relations and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Experience handling payroll, compensation, benefits, and overall HR operations.
• High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
