Cybersecurity & Networking Faculty (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

The university seeks a full-time, on-site faculty member to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in cybersecurity and computer networking. The successful candidate will join a collaborative academic team and contribute to the development of industry-aligned curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and deliver lectures, labs and assessments for cybersecurity and networking subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, supervise student projects and grade assignments and exams.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship and support to diverse student cohorts.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and accreditation activities.
• Engage in research, industry collaborations and community outreach where applicable.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field (PhD preferred).
• Strong knowledge of core cybersecurity concepts and computer networking.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are highly desirable.
• Experience in higher-education teaching or professional training; industry experience is a strong asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching.

Required skills

• Network security, application security, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, incident response.
• Network design, configuration, routing and switching, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs.
• Tools such as Wireshark, packet analyzers, IDS/IPS, security scanners, Linux-based environments.
