Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounts function for a leading organization operating in the shipping sector. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and team coordination across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance/Accounts function, ensuring accurate books and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate audits, taxation, cash‑flow management, and banking relationships.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Oversee revenue collection, vendor payments, and cash management.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to business leadership.
• Manage a multicultural, hybrid finance team and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounts management, preferably in shipping (line/agency) or related industries.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or an MBA in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, direct and indirect taxation, financial reporting, and auditing.
• Proven leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
