2nd Mate – Reefer Vessel (Full‑time)

About the role

Our client seeks an experienced 2nd Mate (2nd Officer) to join a reefer vessel operating under the Bahamas flag. The position is full‑time for a fixed‑term of approximately four months, with a start date of 17 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the 2nd Officer aboard a refrigerated cargo vessel.
• Assist the Chief Officer in navigation, watch‑keeping and cargo operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during the contract period.

Required profile

• Minimum two contracts as 2nd Officer on comparable reefer vessels.
• Valid STCW certifications.
• Current medical fitness certificate.
• Proficient English language skills.
