Control Room Operator & Plant Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled professional to operate our Ready‑Mix Concrete (RMC) batching plant while performing hands‑on mechanical and electrical maintenance. The role combines real‑time production control with preventive upkeep of critical plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the batching plant to produce concrete according to approved mix designs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor belts, gearboxes, air compressors, and mixing blades.
• Troubleshoot minor electrical faults, replace limit switches, and calibrate load cells for batch precision.
• Verify customer orders, monitor raw‑material levels, and keep accurate production records and shift logs.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating industrial control rooms in a heavy‑industrial environment.
• Hands‑on mechanical experience with plant equipment.
• Basic understanding of concrete mix designs and batching software.
