About the role
FHI 360 is seeking a Technical Advisor to lead Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (MNCH) activities for the EpiC project in Liberia’s high‑burden counties. Based in Monrovia, you will work closely with the Ministry of Health, County Health Teams, and community partners to improve access to high‑quality MNCH services and reduce preventable maternal and newborn deaths.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and supervision for MNCH service delivery at health facilities and community level.
- Collaborate with government counterparts to strengthen systems, using approved standards and tools.
- Supervise a team of technical staff and ensure quality monitoring of facility and community health workers.
- Represent the project in high‑level MNCH technical working groups and coordinate with national and county leadership.
- Lead synthesis of MNCH monitoring data and develop responsive programmatic actions.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in MNCH service delivery, supervision, and technical coordination.
- Proven ability to work with Ministry of Health, County Health Teams, and multi‑sectoral partners.
- Experience leading data analysis and translating findings into program improvements.
- Strong communication skills for participation in technical working groups.
Required skills
- Knowledge of international MNCH standards and tools.
- Ability to supervise technical staff and monitor service quality.
- Data synthesis and programmatic planning skills.
