Network Operations Engineer – Global Hybrid Network

About the role

The Network Operations role is responsible for delivering high‑quality network performance for users and applications across a hybrid environment that combines traditional and cloud‑based technologies. The position supports global operations in North America, Europe and Asia‑Pacific, ensuring stability, reliability and continuous improvement of the network.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stable and reliable network services by meeting SLA targets and delivering operational projects, incidents, changes and requests on time.
• Perform timely upgrades of network equipment and develop/maintain standard operating procedures and performance reporting.
• Lead the resolution of major network incidents and ensure rapid disaster recovery capabilities.
• Monitor network performance, generate alerts, analyse trends and drive optimisation initiatives.
• Identify root‑cause problems affecting uptime or performance and implement effective solutions.
• Automate manual operational tasks, especially in cloud environments, to increase agility.
• Collaborate with Operations, Information Security and Workplace Technology teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Mentor team members, fostering continuous learning of new network and cloud technologies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in traditional and cloud‑based networking.
• At least 2 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Proactive mindset with strong customer focus.
• Ability to make decisive decisions based on strategic thinking and stakeholder input.
• Detail‑oriented with a drive for continuous improvement and metric‑based efficiency tracking.
