IT Supervisor – Liberia

About the role

The IT Supervisor will lead daily technical operations, network infrastructure, and system stability for a trading company’s offices and manufacturing plant in Liberia. This position blends hands‑on system administration with project implementation to ensure secure, uninterrupted business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily IT operations, end‑user support, and technical infrastructure across office and plant locations.
• Administer core network architecture, including firewalls, enterprise switches, Access Controllers (AC) and Access Points (AP).
• Oversee server maintenance, Active Directory domain controls, OS updates, and user access permissions.
• Lead planning, deployment, and ongoing management of hardware network monitoring and CCTV/surveillance systems.
• Establish backup protocols, network redundancy, and conduct routine system health audits to achieve zero downtime.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, asset inventories, and infrastructure logs.
• Execute strategic IT initiatives and additional tasks assigned by department leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 + years of progressive, hands‑on experience in IT system administration, network engineering, or supervisory roles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
