IT Systems Developer – ASYCUDA Customization (Liberia)

About the role

The position supports the implementation and customization of the Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) in Liberia. You will develop and program specific modules, provide IT support to the Liberian Customs IT team, and produce technical documentation to ensure smooth operation of the system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and program specific modules and features for ASYCUDA in Liberia.
• Provide IT support to the Liberian Customs IT team as required.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for the ASYCUDA implementation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field (or Bachelor’s degree with at least two additional years of relevant experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience with a Master’s degree or 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Design and development of RESTful APIs for micro‑services architecture using Java, Quarkus and Spring Boot.
• Front‑end development with JavaScript.
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins and monitoring with Splunk.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using Agile project‑management tools.
