Supply & Logistics Specialist (P-3)

About the role

Under the supervision of the Deputy Representative Operations, the Supply & Logistics Specialist leads the country office’s supply chain operations, ensuring that procurement, transport, distribution and monitoring of goods and services are carried out efficiently and in line with UNICEF standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance for planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance and in‑country transport.
• Oversee distribution, end‑user monitoring and emergency response logistics.
• Collaborate closely with programme sections and implementing partners to deliver timely supply solutions.
• Strengthen emergency preparedness and support national supply chain systems.
• Manage the supply team and ensure compliance with UNICEF policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract Law, International Development, Health, Social Science or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply management, contracting, logistics, procurement or administration.
• Proficient English; knowledge of another UN language or local language is desirable.
• Experience in health supply management, country‑level operations and emergency response is an asset.
