Business Growth & Operations Lead

About the role

The Business Growth & Operations Lead will drive day‑to‑day leadership, operational management and commercial growth for Kids Dream Ice Cream (KDIC). Working closely with the Managing Partner, the role translates strategic priorities into measurable results while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement initiatives to increase daily, weekly and monthly sales and identify new revenue streams such as breakfast services, catering, institutional sales and school feeding programmes.
• Build relationships with schools, businesses and corporate clients to generate new business opportunities and launch promotional campaigns.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient production of ice‑cream and other food products, and managing café and food‑service activities.
• Lead the DreamBite School Feeding Programme and improve operational systems, workflows and productivity across all business units.
• Monitor sales performance, operational expenditures, cash, inventory and company resources; work with Finance to maintain accurate records and prepare regular performance reports.
• Enhance customer experience by ensuring excellent service at all touchpoints and driving brand‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading business growth and operational functions, preferably in food service or retail.
• Strong ability to develop revenue‑generating initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated skill in overseeing production, service operations and programme implementation.
• Experience monitoring financial performance, controlling costs and reporting results.
