Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Executive Finance Leader

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the corporation’s fiscal functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, federal and state regulations, tax rules, and cost‑reimbursement principles specific to the automotive manufacturing industry. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the CFO acts as a strategic business partner, providing critical financial insight to drive long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Direct financial control, analysis, operating budget, and financial management systems.
• Assess organizational performance against annual budgets and long‑term strategy.
• Develop tools and systems to deliver actionable financial and operational information to the CEO.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end financial statement preparation, including ledger maintenance and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage external auditors, audit preparation, and all external audit processes.
• Lead financial planning, monthly profit‑and‑loss forecasts, cash‑flow forecasts, and capital budgeting.
• Negotiate and manage real‑estate leases and sub‑leases.
• Develop predictive financial models and activity‑based analyses to support business initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience directing fiscal functions in the automotive manufacturing sector.
• Proven ability to develop and implement financial control systems, budgeting processes, and forecasting models.
• Experience overseeing month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities and coordinating external audits.
• Track record of managing accounting teams and serving as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, capital budgeting, and cash‑flow management.
