Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for AHTS Vessel

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electro‑Technical Officer (ETO) to join an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel. The role involves maintaining and operating all electrical and electronic systems on board while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain high‑voltage and low‑voltage electrical equipment.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on DP (Dynamic Positioning) systems.
• Ensure all STCW certifications and medical documents are current and valid.
• Conduct inspections and testing of marine electrical installations.
• Coordinate with the crew to support safe vessel operations.

Required profile

• Valid STCW documents and a current medical certificate.
• Experience working on PSV or AHTS vessels.
• Possession of an ETO Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Up‑to‑date vaccinations (COVID‑19, Yellow Fever) and preferably an OGUK medical.
• Proficient English communication skills.
