Finance Officer – ITN Mass Campaign (6‑month contract)

About the role

The Finance Officer will support the financial planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the ITN Mass Campaign. This temporary six‑month role ensures sound stewardship of campaign resources through accurate documentation, budget tracking, payment processing, cash management, and compliance oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial management activities for the campaign and monitor expenditures against approved budgets.
• Prepare budget tracking reports, advise on utilization, and assist with revisions and forecasts.
• Review payment requests, prepare vouchers, and process payments through CRS financial systems.
• Support cash forecasts, manage advances, and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Produce periodic and ad‑hoc financial reports, perform variance analysis, and maintain organized audit records.
• Validate documentation from service providers, reconcile bank and mobile‑money accounts, and detect irregularities.
• Ensure compliance with CRS finance policies and donor regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial documentation and voucher preparation.
• Knowledge of cash management and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with donor compliance and internal control procedures.
