Preschool Teacher Assistant (Floater)

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher Assistant to support a dynamic, research‑based classroom environment. Working under the School Director and lead teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing space for young learners, including those with individualized education plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily classroom activities and implementation of Cadence Signature Programs.
• Support a positive, respectful environment for each child.
• Greet children and families, building welcoming relationships.
• Follow IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work with children of diverse developmental, cultural, and behavioral needs.
• Commitment to safety, licensing compliance, and Cadence policies.
