Senior .Net Developer

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to help build and scale a consumer product used by tens of millions worldwide. The role focuses on solving complex distributed‑system challenges while delivering business‑impactful features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend solutions for a high‑load distributed system serving millions of users.
• Drive architectural decisions within a microservice environment.
• Build new product features and enhance existing backend functionality.
• Implement services using .NET (up to .NET 10) and integrate RabbitMQ for reliable asynchronous processing.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability in production.
• Own tasks end‑to‑end, from business problem analysis to shipping production‑ready code.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with .NET in production environments.
• Experience with distributed or high‑load systems (ideally serving 1 M+ users).
• Practical knowledge of RabbitMQ or similar message brokers.
• Confidence working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture principles and system design.
• Ability to think in terms of business impact and take ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Datadog is a plus.
