Supply Chain Officer (Expedited Recruitment)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Officer for its Liberia Country Office. This expedited recruitment is open to internal and internal‑equivalent candidates. The officer will support the delivery of quality goods and services to beneficiaries, ensuring optimal price and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning for supply‑chain activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct logistics capacity assessments and market research to inform decision‑makers about local market trends.
• Coordinate and monitor supply‑chain tasks, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and provision of goods and services.
• Prepare regular progress reports, statistical information, and briefing notes as required.
• Support management of procurement, warehouse operations, transport and distribution, fleet, and asset management.

Required profile

• Experience in supply‑chain or logistics management, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work closely with the Chief of Mission, Resources Management Officer, and regional and headquarters teams.
• Strong analytical skills for market analysis and reporting.
• Effective communication and coordination with government, UN agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners.
