About the role
FHI 360 is seeking a Program Officer I to support the United States Government‑funded Global Health Security project in Liberia (STRIDES). The role provides essential administrative and program‑management support to keep project activities on schedule, within budget, and aligned with donor requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the project management team with meeting planning, travel arrangements, and conference‑room setup.
- Maintain and organise electronic and physical project files, distribution lists, and the project calendar.
- Collect, compile, and analyse metrics, data, and cost information for reports and budget tracking.
- Coordinate procurement documentation (PRs, SOWs) and support the preparation of requisitions.
- Serve as liaison between the project team and internal units such as finance, contracts, and centers.
- Send reminders to ensure timely submission of reporting deadlines and technical deliverables.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of project design concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and administrative teams.
