Communications & Digital Media Associate

About the role

The Communications & Digital Media Associate is a key member of the Diplomatic Club of Liberia, helping to grow its digital footprint and public outreach. The role centres on storytelling about the club's work in youth leadership, diplomacy, civic participation and community projects, covering content creation, event documentation and online platform management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish engaging content for social media and digital platforms, including news articles, captions, announcements and program updates.
• Manage the organization's online presence and digital communications day to day.
• Capture high-quality photos and video, and produce short-form video and multimedia assets.
• Design communication materials and keep a complete archive of visual and written content.
• Update the website regularly and help write newsletters and impact stories.
• Track engagement metrics, report on communication performance and keep branding consistent.
• Support media coverage during major events and research topics such as youth development and diplomacy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in content creation, digital media management or public relations.
• Strong writing skills and research skills, with an interest in youth leadership and diplomatic affairs.
• Ability to manage social media accounts and website content, and to maintain digital archives.

Required skills

• Proficiency in photography and basic video production.
• Familiarity with digital design tools.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset focused on audience engagement.
