Partnerships and Outreach Associate

About the role

The Liberia Diplomatic Club (LDC) is looking for a Partnerships and Outreach Associate to drive its growth through strategic alliance building and stakeholder engagement. The role connects the club with youth groups, diplomatic missions, academic institutions and development agencies, and suits someone interested in diplomacy, communications, youth empowerment and collaborative development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective partners and key stakeholders, and nurture long-term collaborations.
• Carry out targeted outreach to embassies, government bodies, NGOs, development partners, universities and private sector entities.
• Draft and refine partnership documentation such as concept notes, proposals and formal correspondence.
• Coordinate logistics for stakeholder meetings, partnership events and engagement activities, and provide operational support for events, summits, dialogues and youth programmes.
• Manage and update a contact database, follow up on meetings and action items, and research potential funding sources and partnership avenues.
• Represent the LDC externally and work with the communications department to raise the visibility of its initiatives.
• Generate reports on outreach progress and carry out other duties assigned by the Executive Director or Secretariat.

Required profile

• Interest and aptitude in partnership development, diplomacy, communications and youth development.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to represent the organisation professionally in external settings.
• Commitment to supporting the mission of the Liberia Diplomatic Club.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting proposals, concept notes and official letters.
• Excellent organisational skills for managing databases, scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
• Effective research skills and strong written and verbal communication.
