About the role
FHI 360 is seeking a People & Culture Officer for its Liberia Country Office. The role provides professional HR services, supporting staff and managers across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment from requisition approval through onboarding.
- Advise employees and supervisors on policy interpretation and application.
- Support performance management processes, including goal‑setting and reviews.
- Coordinate learning and development activities.
- Ensure compliance with Liberian labor laws and FHI 360 policies.
- Maintain accurate staff records and manage hard‑copy and electronic filing systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of local employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to provide policy guidance and resolve employee concerns.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
