Product Owner – Chats

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Product Owner to lead the Chats product line. You will shape the roadmap, drive experiments, and collaborate with a global, remote team to deliver engaging chat experiences for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Own product roadmap planning, prioritisation and strategic initiatives for Chats.
• Define goals, KPIs, hypotheses and experiment strategies based on business impact and data insights.
• Coordinate experiment launches, analyse results and drive rollout decisions.
• Monitor product metrics, landing performance and optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with product teams, developers, designers and analysts on improvements and technical solutions.
• Research and introduce new tools, technologies and optimisation approaches.
• Align cross‑functional priorities and present results, metrics and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Improve team processes, product culture and execution quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing product roadmaps and strategic planning.
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to explain trade‑offs and business impact.
• Hands‑on experience with product hypotheses, experiments and A/B testing.
• Data‑driven analytical mindset with understanding of unit economics and digital marketing principles.
• Experience with analytics, reporting tools, dashboards and performance monitoring.
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers about frontend technologies.
