Dental Assistant

About the role

Our dental practice is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support our dentist in delivering top‑class care. You will work directly with patients, preparing treatment rooms, handling instruments, and assisting during a range of procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments and set up equipment for each patient.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process dental X‑rays.
• Perform lab tasks as directed and maintain accurate patient records.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments and provide oral hygiene guidance.
• Handle payment procedures and general administrative duties.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• High level of empathy, patience and strong communication skills.
• Professionalism, self‑motivation and a desire to provide excellent patient care.

Required skills

• Dental instrument sterilization.
• Dental radiography (X‑ray acquisition and processing).
• Knowledge of common dental procedures such as crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals and implants.
