Inter-Agency PSEAH Specialist

About the role

The UNDP is recruiting an Inter-Agency PSEAH Specialist in Monrovia, Liberia, to strengthen the inter-agency network on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH). The role reports administratively to the Deputy Resident Representative (DRR) UNDP and to the Resident Coordinator/Humanitarian Coordinator, who holds system-wide accountability for PSEA commitments across the UN and partners. The position is open to internal and external applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership support to senior UN leadership (Resident Coordinator, UNCT, HCT) and coordinate the inter-agency PSEAH Network, representing its priorities in coordination platforms such as the Protection Cluster and Gender Theme Group.
• Integrate PSEAH into programmes, policies and joint planning, and advise leadership on emerging risks and mitigation measures.
• Support resource mobilization, Government of Liberia engagement and crisis communication strategies on PSEAH.
• Ensure annual inter-agency SEAH risk assessments feed into sector assessments, UN planning frameworks and humanitarian response plans.
• Lead the development of a multi-year Liberia PSEAH Strategy and a sustainability and exit strategy, aligned with UNSDCF.
• Support Co-Chairs of the PSEAH Network in implementing its Terms of Reference and Action Plan, and help build a resourcing plan.
• Strengthen national capacity by supporting training, mentorship and training-of-trainers for network members, and promote collaboration with AAP and CwC platforms.
