4th Engineer – Ore Carrier (4‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified 4th Engineer to join an ore carrier vessel for a short‑term assignment. The role involves supporting the engine room team and ensuring the vessel’s machinery operates safely and efficiently. The vessel is an Italian‑flagged ore carrier with a gross tonnage of 151,915, deadweight of 313,049 and is equipped with a Wartsila 6RTA84 main engine.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the engine room crew aboard an ore carrier vessel.
• Support routine maintenance and monitoring of main and auxiliary machinery.

Required profile

• Valid STCW documents.
• Current medical certificate.
• Good command of working English.
• EU passport holder.

Required skills

• STCW certification.

What we offer

• Net salary of €3,600 per month.
• Fixed‑term contract of approximately 4 months (±1 month).
• Joining date at the end of July.
