Chief Engineer – Oil/Chemical Tanker (2‑3 month contract)

About the role

Our client seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to join the crew of an oil/chemical tanker for a short‑term assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engine department on board the vessel.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the MAN‑B&W 6S50ME‑C9.5 main engine.

Required profile

• At least two previous contracts on similar oil or chemical tankers with mixed crew.
• Valid STCW documents and a current medical certificate.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Candidate must be based in the EU.

Required skills

• Experience with MAN‑B&W 6S50ME‑C9.5 engine systems.
• STCW certification.
• Medical certificate.

What we offer
