About the role

Join Meijer as a Part‑Time Team Member and help deliver exceptional service to customers in our food departments. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, providing product knowledge, friendly assistance, and maintaining a clean, well‑stocked store.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
• Stock shelves and arrange product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize store technology (POS and inventory systems) to complete transactions and tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service.
• Work across departments such as Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, and Grocery.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and organized.
• Strong listening and communication skills, both face‑to‑face and virtual.
• Willingness to learn and use job‑specific technology.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, twist, and stand for long periods.
