Program Officer – Maternal, Neonatal & Child Health

About the role

FHI 360 is seeking a Program Officer to support the Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (MNCH) component of the EpiC project in Liberia’s high‑burden counties. The role focuses on administrative and program‑management functions to keep the project on schedule, within budget, and aligned with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the project management team with planning meetings, travel arrangements, and conference‑room logistics.
• Track, organize, and maintain procurement documentation such as purchase requests and statements of work.
• Collect, compile, and analyze metrics and data from sub‑contractors and partners for reporting purposes.
• Maintain project distribution lists, electronic and physical files, and the project calendar to ensure deadlines are met.
• Send reminders to keep the team on track with reporting and technical deliverables.
• Support budget coordination, gather cost information, and serve as liaison to finance, contracts, and other internal units.

Required profile

• Experience in program administration and project support within a development or health‑focused organization.
• Ability to collect, compile, and analyze project‑related data and metrics.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, budgeting coordination, and documentation management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage calendars, files, and reporting timelines.
